Where does the time go?

Where does the time go? No one ever said it would drift on by like a leaf blowing in the wind. No one ever said that you would work yourself to death. No one ever said adulting was hard.
No one ever said that you would loose your friends and family at a blink of an eye. No one ever said that the days, weeks and years would run together like one giant river. 
At times it seems like all I do is wake up, go to work, come home, feed the animals and the husband if he is home, go to bed and start the same ol' thing over again.  I look back at my younger years and it seems like I had more time to do things.  It seemed like I had more friends to hang out with.  It seems like family was closer than it is now a days.  But then it could be because I am out here all alone in this state.  No friends, no family around, just me and my husband.  Would I change it, YES I would.  I would have my dad living here in this state with me.  
It seems like just yesterday I was going to elementary school, gosh that was more than 30 years ago.  Then came middle school, high school, college, young adult life, and now almost mid life.  Time goes by way too fast.  And the worst part, I have this blog, my journal and yet I do not capture the best times in my life like I should.

DNA

Ever since ancestry came out I have been interested in how the DNA pool works in finding your long lost relatives.  So I decided that since my family knows nothing really about their ancestors I would take a test.  The wait was the longest, it seemed to drag on and drag on.  And then one day it said it was ready.  Boy was I surprised!!!!
